Why are there no electrolytes in Outlast?

There are no electrolytes in OUTLAST to give athletes options. Most products on the market combine calories and electrolytes together, forcing athletes to get their calories and their electrolytes in one drink. While this may be convenient, it is not always best for the athlete. More and more studies are beginning to suggest that we may not need as many electrolytes as once thought. These same studies are also suggesting that consuming too many electrolytes may in fact have a detrimental impact on athletic performance.

Have you ever had GI distress during an athletic event? Nausea? Diarrhea? Dizziness? These are all symptoms of ingesting too many electrolytes. If you are consuming a sports drink in order to get your calories and are also ingesting electrolytes, even if you do not need them, then you may be unknowingly sabotaging your performance. This is why OUTLAST does not have any electrolytes, we want athletes to be able to get their necessary calories without forcing them to also consume electrolytes.

 

How much water should I use when drinking Outlast?

We recommend using at least 8-10 oz of water per serving of OUTLAST.

 

What flavors do you have?

Right now, we do not have any flavors of OUTLAST; our only product is flavorless. The only ingredient in OUTLAST is Cluster DextrinTM, which is naturally flavorless. If you would like to see other flavors of OUTLAST, please contact us at info@outlast.com and let us know which flavor/s you want.  If we get enough demand for other flavors, then we will create those flavors.
